My work is an exploration of the sea, the beauty and wonder of God’s creation, and human connection to nature. I seek to create a visual language that reflects the beauty and mystery of the natural world. The sea, in its endless motion and vastness, is a central theme in my work, representing both the mystery of creation and the intimate relationship we share with the earth. I seek to capture this sense of wonder, finding moments of connection between humanity, nature, and the spiritual forces that shape our world.

I focus mostly on alternative process photography techniques, because it requires attention and concentration from the artist, and the process of making the work is just as important as the product. Meditating on physical media vs. digital media and working with your hands is a way to bring the artist into a closer spiritual relationship with the Creator. It forces a more deliberate approach and a slower pace, which can lead to more thoughtful and intentional work.

Through my work, I hope to inspire a deepened reverence for the earth and a renewed awareness of the sacredness that lives in and around us. The ocean, our home, is not just a source of inspiration, but a reminder that in the vastness of creation, we are all intricately connected.
